On a recent trip, I had the most magical break filled with laughter, beautiful scenery and stunning accommodation in leafy North Adelaide.
It’s been a great reminder to make time for self-care and travel and put wonderful memories in the memory bank.

As a light traveller, I packed for this trip by carefully considering what I would be taking.
I’m a serial outfit repeater: the same pants or skirt paired with different tops, shoes, and accessories.
Think flats for day, heels for night, bolder accessories, and brighter lipstick will make the transition from day to night simple.
By having good core pieces, I don’t need loads of stuff, just to pack smart.
When picking a cardi or jacket, I recommend packing a denim jacket. It will easily go over most summer outfits. Blue or white are my go-to colours.
When choosing which pants or skirt to take, try choosing something with a few colours in it. You’ll then have more colours to pair with, thus becoming more versatile. A white t-shirt is a great staple, then pick colours to match from the colours in your pants or skirt.
Be sure to check the weather ahead of time, and always pack a light cardi for the plane or if there’s a change in the weather.
